Tamura Designs, Inc. Wins First Place
Trophy Award For The Fox Project
The California Landscape Contractors Association presented Tamura Designs, Inc. of San Jose a prestigious First Place Trophy Award in the Water Features category for their work on The Fox Project.
Aquascape, Inc. sponsored the award, which was presented during the association’s annual convention in San Diego November 9, 2012.
Two highly regarded green industry veterans traveled state-wide to personally inspect each and every one of the 150-plus Trophy Award entrants. The judges, who rated projects on their artistic and technical merits, were impressed with work done by Tamura Designs, Inc. ” Awesom project,” said Trophy Award judge Klaus Kumme, a respected Life Member of the Association.
The California Landscape Contractors Association sponsors the Trophy Awards to encourage interest in landscaping, recognize crafts people who produce outstanding landscapes, create pride in superior workmanship and to bestow public recognition on companies, institutions, municipalities and residents for their interest in a beautiful California.
The California Landscape Contractors Association is a non-profit trade organization of licensed landscape and landscape-related contractors. Also included among its approximately 2,200 members are landscape suppliers, landscape architects, public officials, educators, and students. Although formally incorporated in 1952, CLCA has been meeting as an association since 1937.
